These terms govern your use of the website at theportalos.com, including the waitlist and the interactive demonstration. The Portal application is not generally available and is not covered by these terms; it will have its own agreement before anyone uses it.
The provider of this website is identified in the imprint. This site is directed at businesses (B2B).
This is a pre-launch site. Its purpose is to describe a product that is still being built and to let you register interest. Nothing here is an offer to conclude a contract, and no feature described here is guaranteed to exist, to work as shown, or to be released at all.
The animated sequence on the home page is a scripted illustration. The names, messages, orders and timings shown in it are invented examples, marked as such on the page. They are not real customers, not real transactions, and not a record of system performance. The same applies to any wording produced by the personalisation feature.
Parts of this site generate text automatically using an AI model. You should understand three things about such output, here and in the product:
Do not enter personal data of third parties, customer records or confidential information into the personalisation field.
You agree not to: disrupt or attempt to disrupt the site; probe, scan or test its security; submit unlawful, infringing or deliberately misleading content through its forms; submit another person’s data without a legal basis; use automated means to retrieve content at volumes that burden the service; or attempt to extract, reverse engineer or reuse the underlying system prompts or model behaviour.
The Portal name, the design, text, graphics, code and structure of this site are protected and remain ours. You may read, link to and quote the site with attribution. Commercial reuse, reproduction or adaptation requires our prior written consent.
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the information on it is complete or current. Product descriptions reflect intentions at the time of writing and may change.
We are liable without limitation:
For slight negligence we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement.
Any further liability is excluded.
These limits also apply to our legal representatives, employees and agents.
Where we link to external sites, we have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it.
We may amend these terms as the product develops. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the provider’s registered seat. Mandatory statutory provisions, including consumer protection rules of the country in which a consumer is habitually resident, remain unaffected.
If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.

These terms were drafted from the applicable statutory framework, including the limits German law places on liability clauses in standard terms (§§ 307–309 BGB). They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before this site is used commercially — and certainly before the application launches — have them reviewed by a qualified legal advisor.
